How suggestions work
I've made too many changes to this server on a whim, and every one of them cost us a few players. So here's the deal from now on: if it changes how the game plays, it gets posted on the suggestions page first and you get to vote on it. That includes my own ideas.
What I'm committing to
- 1Anything that changes how the game plays goes up for a vote before it happens. Gather rates, loot, team size, wipe schedule, rules, how a plugin behaves, and anything getting removed or nerfed.Small additions are still my call and don't need a vote: a new perk, a new kit item, something new in the shop, a cosmetic. Those get announced in Discord like always. When I post an idea of my own here it's marked with an Operator badge.
- 2A suggestion has to clear all three of these to pass. The numbers you see here come straight from the live config, not from this page.
- 3Once something passes I'll get it in within 72 hours, or at the next wipe if that's the only sensible time. You'll see the date in Discord and in game chat the moment I set it, and a reminder the day before if there's time for one.
- 4I can still veto something, but only with a reason written out in public, and the reason stays on the suggestion for good. If I find myself doing this often, something's wrong with the bar and that's a conversation worth having.
- 5Crash fixes, exploit fixes, and dealing with cheaters don't wait for a vote. They still get logged here afterwards, tagged as an emergency fix, so the record is complete.
- 6If the numbers above ever change, that change goes through a vote too. The page shows when the bar was last moved and which suggestion moved it.

- aOpen. Voting is live and the clock is running. The bot opens a Discord thread for each one, and that's the place to argue about it.
- bPassed. It cleared the bar. This gets checked once an hour, so there can be a short delay. Now it's waiting on me for a date.
- cRejected. It sat open for 14 days without getting there. Whoever posted it waits 30 days before posting another.
- dScheduled. It has a date, and that date has been announced in Discord and in game.
- eDone. It's in. The card says what actually changed.
- fVetoed or Merged. Something I did by hand, always with a note you can read.
Voting and posting
- 1Sign in with Steam. You don't need your Discord linked for this.
- 2You need 5 hours on the server you're voting for. That's there so a pile of fresh accounts can't swing a vote.
- 3One vote each, up or down, and you can change your mind any time while it's open. Nobody can see which way you voted. The totals are public.
- 4You can have one suggestion open at a time, and your name goes on it.
- 5Voting only happens on this site. The Discord post is for discussion and has no vote button, so there's never two different counts floating around.
